Dual-Beam X-Ray Inspection System For Canned Products
Introduction&Application
Fanchi Dual-beam x-ray system is specially designed for the complicated detection of glass particles in glass or plastic or metal containers. It also detects unwanted foreign objects such as metal, stones, ceramics or plastic with high density in the product. The FA-XIS1625D devices use a scanning hight up to 280 mm with a straight product tunnel for conveyor speed up to 120m/min.

Q: What is the core advantage of the dual-beam X-ray system compared with single-beam solutions for canned products?
A: The dual-beam design (FA-XIS1625D) is specially developed for the challenging detection of glass particles inside glass, plastic or metal containers — a task where single-beam systems often have inspection blind spots. It also accurately identifies other high-density foreign objects such as metal, stones, ceramics and high-density plastic, delivering more reliable and comprehensive quality control for canned goods.
Q: What contaminants can this system detect, and what is its detection sensitivity?
A: It can detect all common high-density foreign impurities in canned products, including glass fragments, metal, stones, ceramics and high-density plastic. Its detection sensitivity reaches 0.3mm for stainless steel, 0.3×2mm for fine wire, and 1.5mm for glass/ceramic balls, ensuring accurate capture of tiny contaminants.
Q: What conveyor speed and production line compatibility does this system offer?
A: The system supports an adjustable belt speed of 10–70m/min and a maximum load capacity of 25kg per product unit. Standard line height options range from 600mm to 900mm, with ±50mm custom adjustment available to match your existing production line layout. It can store up to 200 product presets for rapid changeover between different canned SKUs.
Q: How does the system handle non-compliant products, and how can I manage inspection data?
A: It is equipped with an automatic rejection system, with optional configurations including air blast rejector and pusher rejector. All inspection records and operation logs can be exported via USB or Ethernet port to support full production traceability. It runs on Windows 10 system with a 17-inch LCD touch screen for intuitive real-time operation.
Q: What safety standards does this X-ray inspection system comply with?
A: The system strictly conforms to international radiation safety standards including EN 61010-02-091 and CFR 21 Part 1020.40. The machine body is constructed with 304 stainless steel, which meets food industry hygiene requirements, making it suitable for canned food, beverage and other hygiene-sensitive production scenarios.
