Dual-Beam X-Ray Inspection System For Canned Products
Introduction&Application
Fanchi Dual-beam x-ray system is specially designed for the complicated detection of glass particles in glass or plastic or metal containers. It also detects unwanted foreign objects such as metal, stones, ceramics or plastic with high density in the product. The FA-XIS1625D devices use a scanning hight up to 280 mm with a straight product tunnel for conveyor speed up to 120m/min.
Detection Range
Fanchi Dual-beam x-ray system is specially designed for the complicated detection of glass particles in glass or plastic or metal containers.
Product Highlights
- Raised bottoms:
The dual beam X-ray inspection system prevents blind areas when inspecting jars.
- Large thin foreign bodies:
Reliable detection of a thin glasssliver, most likely not detectedwith a single beam system.
- Inspection along the glass wall:
Small foreign bodies near the glass arereliably detected with a dual beam system.

Q: What are the core advantages of the dual-beam X-ray system over single-beam models for canned product inspection?
A: The dual-beam design solves three key pain points in canned product inspection: it eliminates inspection blind spots caused by raised jar bottoms, reliably detects thin glass slivers that are most likely missed by single-beam systems, and ensures stable identification of small foreign bodies located close to the glass wall, greatly improving inspection completeness and accuracy for canned goods.
Q: What contaminants can this system detect, and what are its detection accuracy and conveyor speed?
A: Specially engineered for glass particle detection in glass, plastic and metal containers, it also identifies other high-density foreign objects including metal, stones, ceramics and high-density plastic. Its detection sensitivity reaches 0.3mm for stainless steel 304 balls, 0.3×2mm for wire, and 1.5mm for glass/ceramic balls. The belt speed is adjustable from 10 to 90m/min with a maximum load capacity of 25kg, adapting to high-speed canned production lines.
Q: Can the system be integrated with existing production lines, and what rejection modes and product changeover features does it support?
A: The system has a tunnel size of 160×280mm, with standard line height options ranging from 700mm to 950mm and ±50mm custom adjustment available for flexible integration with existing canning lines. Optional rejector types include air blast rejector and pusher. It can store up to 100 product presets for quick changeover, and is operated via a 17-inch LCD touch screen for intuitive use.
Q: Is the equipment suitable for wash-down environments in food workshops, and what is its protection rating and construction material?
A: Yes. The conveying section has an IP66 protection rating, and the whole machine is constructed with 304 stainless steel, which meets food industry hygiene standards and withstands regular wash-down cleaning. It operates stably in ambient temperatures of 0–40°C, adapting to most food processing workshop environments.
Q: What radiation safety standards does this X-ray system comply with, and how can inspection data be exported and managed?
A: The system strictly complies with international radiation safety standards including EN 61010-02-091 and FDA CFR 21 Part 1020.40, ensuring safe operation. Inspection data can be exported via USB and Ethernet ports. It runs on Windows 10 operating system, supporting production traceability and equipment operation management.
